Equipment Specific Details
McIntosh Equipment
All McIntosh repairs require the items to be shipped in their original boxes and packaging. If you do not have the original boxes and/or packaging, please contact us or the McIntosh to purchase a new one.
DSP Repair (BSS Audio, QSC, etc)
We are requiring the maximum authorization of $360 per unit so that we can process complete repairs without having to contact you for additional authorization. If the unit only requires the normal updates, we will charge $180, plus return shipping unless you provide us a return shipping label or UPS account number. If only normal updates are required, prepaid authorizations will be issued a refund.
We may require your DSP programming file and need to know if you are capable of loading the program yourself. We may need to load a test file for repairs. We will do our best to restore the program to its original configuration. If you do not have the software or programming file we will not be able to fully test the units for factory performance. Programming services are available for an additional fee.
We are the primary service depot for BSS Soundweb Original (Green) repairs as recommended by BSS Audio. We are also a QSC Premier Service Center.
Warranty Repairs
All Warranty Repairs Require Proof of Purchase
If you would like an estimate to first determine if a repair is covered under warranty, a $50 minimum diagnostic fee if the problem is found to not be covered under warranty. Warranty Status on will be determined by the BEL Technical Staff. Having a proof of purchase within the warranty period is NOT a guarantee that repair services will be covered under warranty. A standard manufacturer warranty covers MANUFACTURER’S DEFECTS under NORMAL USE. ANY DEFECT OR DAMAGE THAT IS USER-INFLICTED IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY!
If you are shipping your repair to us, return shipping is not covered by warranty. We recommend including a pre-paid return label with your item. Alternatively, we can invoice you for the return shipping cost.

Non-Warranty Repairs
BEL guarantees all of its non-warranty repairs for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of pickup or delivery. If the unit fails with the SAME PROBLEM within this period, return the unit immediately and we will service it at no charge. If the unit requires ADDITIONAL PARTS to solve the ORIGINAL problem, you will be charged ONLY for the parts. ALL returns are subject to inspection and evaluation by BEL. If, upon inspection, it has been determined that the unit in question has been subsequently modified, abused, tampered with, or repaired by another service organization, the customer will be duly notified and an estimate for the additional incurred diagnostic and service charges will be issued.
